親愛的代禱夥伴：

神聽禱告而且行事奇妙。教會的張姊妹的女兒早幾年因為服用藥物的副作用，皮膚會發出紅斑而且臟腑會疼痛。後來症狀消失，她也沒有在意。但是，最近幾個月她女兒的皮膚紅斑又出現，而且臟腑又再疼痛。一位中醫朋友介紹她一種植物能治療她女兒的病，並繪了一個圖給她。許多個月她到處去尋找都找不到，也不知道南非有沒有這種植物。她也一直祈求主幫助她尋找，三個星期前，她們一家人去德班的日本公園遊玩，竟然看見了那種亞洲植物出現在非洲的公園裡。神有預備！她的女兒現今已復原。這個主日她在講台上見證並感恩。

在六月剛受洗的繆姊妹也見證神的奇妙恩典，上月她得知在中國的父親檢查到有兩公分的腫瘤，後來更長到四點五公分，她在主前呼求主憐憫恩待她的父親。前一週她父親在省級醫院覆診，她父親的腫瘤被診斷為良性，只需移除就好。感謝主！因為這個神奇的見證，她的父親也願意將家中的偶像除去。請為繆姊妹父親信主禱告。

我們一直在為在去年受洗的楊弟兄的太太信主禱告，因為每次我們去探望他們時，她總是一面顧店一面聽我們的分享。她對我們分享的見證最感興趣。但是，因為招呼客人常會被中斷。感謝主，她在前三個主日聚會後決志信主。她分享到她信仰的開始是因為看見她丈夫信主之後的改變。她後來也開始向主禱告，也看見主真的行了奇事。她的分享提醒我們，每一個信主的人生命的見證是引人歸主的鐵證。我們禱告不可灰心，我們要將一切的事帶到主前祈求。「應當一無掛慮，只要凡事藉禱告、祈求，和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。」（腓4：6）

最近有另外三位慕道友信主，每一位都有不同的境遇。范姊妹因為姑姑是基督徒，所以來教會聚會；林弟兄在基督徒的工廠打工，所以來了解基督教；丁姊妹先前接觸過佛教，也在本來的城鎮去過南非白人的教會，但是不能溝通。最近搬到城市中認識了基督徒，她讀了中信，積極尋求獨一的真神。神用不同的人成為他們的引路人，這些引路人都有美好的生命見證，引導他們成為天國之子。你我身邊還有許多人，需要有人願意關心他們靈魂的歸處、為他們代禱、帶他們去教會、鼓勵他們參加聚會。願意你我都成為天國的引路人！

代禱事項：

1. 感謝主，最近四位新信主的弟兄姊妹會在十一月受洗。求主幫助他們真道課程的學習，也給我們智慧引領他們成長。
2. 請為在德班新華商城公寓的週一團契聚會代禱。感謝主，現在來參加的人數穩定。除固守真道的主題外，也有家庭生活主題。求主使用這個聚會。
3. 為教會中固定來參加聚會的慕道友許教授、王先生、吳女士和新華商城慕道友陳太太及她的媳婦代禱。求主感化他們，能早日信主。
4. 感謝主，上個月我們收到三萬件衣服慈惠贈品，通過與我們合作的南非教會分送給德班附近貧窮地區的人。求主使用我們的慈惠事工見證主的愛。
5. 感謝主，藉著網路微信群，克達得以在每週四和週日晚上為南非不同城鎮的信徒上課，也有良好的回應。求主祝福這個事工。
6. 請為我們出外往各地事工及行車的安全代禱。

South Africa Prayer letter ( 10/2016 )

Dear Prayer Partners,

God answers prayers in amazing ways!  Sister Zhang’s daughter suffered from rashes and abdominal pain as a result of side effects from her medication a few years ago.   She had since recovered, and it was long forgotten.  A few months ago, the symptoms came back.  They went to see a Chinese doctor and were told that a certain herb will relieve the symptoms.  However, the doctor did not know where they could find it in South Africa and only drew a picture of the plant for them.  They had been searching for months with no results and kept on praying for God’s help.  A few weeks ago, the family went to a Japanese Garden and found this Asian plant in South Africa!  The LORD will provide!  Her daughter had totally recovered!  Sister Zhang gave her testimony and expressed her gratefulness to the Lord at this week’s worship service.  Sister Miao who was baptized in June also shared her testimony.  Last month her father in China was diagnosed with a 2-cm growth in his stomach; and it had rapidly grown to 4.5 cm.  She cried out to God for her father.  Last week her father went for another examination at the provincial hospital, and the doctor confirmed that it was benign.  All they need to do is to remove it.  Praise the Lord!  Due to this miraculous turn of event, her father agreed to destroy all his idols in his home.  Please pray for his salvation.

Since Brother Yang was baptized last year, we have been praying for his wife’s salvation.  Every time we visit them, she always pays close attention to our sharing.  Due to the coming and going of customers, she sometimes gets distracted.  Praise the Lord!  She accepted Christ as her personal savior three weeks ago after the worship service.  She shared that she decided to take a serious look at Christianity because she saw the changes in her husband’s life.  In addition, she tried praying to God, and He answered her in wonderful ways.  This really reminds us that God’s power in renewing our lives is the undeniable proof that leads people to Christ.  So we should continue to pray without ceasing and bring everything to the Lord.  “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Phil. 4:6)

The other three new Christians all came to know the Lord under different circumstances.  Sister Fan came to church with her Christian auntie; Brother Lin wanted to understand his Christian boss’ belief; Sister Ding was exposed to Buddhism first, then attended a local church but could not understand what they said, afterwards she moved to town, met some Christians, loved to read the

Chinese Christian Today magazines and wanted to find the one true God.  God utilized different Christians with genuine living testimonies to be the guides in leading them to His kingdom.  There are still so many lost souls around us that need a guide to care for them, to pray for them, to introduce them to church and to encourage them to seek the truth.  May we continue to thrive to be God’s faithful guide.

Prayer Requests:

1. We thank God that the four new believers will be baptized in November.  Please pray for their learning in their Basic Christianity classes, and may God grant us wisdom to lead them in their spiritual growth.
2. Please pray for the new Monday night Bible study at the XinHua Centre.  We thank God that the attendance has been stable.  In addition to apologetic topics, we also study family-related issues.  May the Lord use this meeting to strengthen our brothers and sisters.
3.   Please continue to pray for the seekers who come to our Bible study meetings regularly—Professor Xu, Mr. Huang, Ms. Wu as well as Mrs. Chen and her daughter-in-law at the XinHua Centre.  May the Lord work in their hearts and they be saved.
4.    We thank God that we received a donation of 30,000 T-shirts last month.  With the partnership of a local church, we were able to distribute them to the poor communities in our area.  May this community service be a testimony of God’s love for those in need.
5.    We thank God that, through WeChat, Ko-Ta is able to hold two classes (Thursday and Sunday nights) every week for Christians in remote areas of the country.  We have received very good responses.  May the Lord continue to bless this ministry.
6.    Please continue to pray for our safety as we travel to different cities and towns.
