親愛的主內弟兄姊妹們：

        讚美主！感謝大家在祈禱中記念我，和一直以來的支持與關懷。

        我最初很猶豫要不要寫這封代禱信來更新我的近況，因為我沒有勇氣和面目如實地透露我目前的情況。但我衷心感謝你們所有的祈禱和關懷，所以我應該真實地分享我的情況。

        我目前正在重修第二年，因為我的學分不達標，無法升上畢業班。我只需重修去年大約一半的課程，因已合格的課程則被豁免了。當我剛收到這個消息時，心情很崩潰，因為我將畢業時間多推遲了一年，也對自己感到很失望，因為我知道自己原本是有能力通過的。目前，我已經擺脫了悔恨，剩下的就是繼續前進，並相信上帝帶領我來到這個城市和這所大學是有原因的。讚美上帝帶領我經歷這一切。

        除了學習，我還在教會服侍，並在一家餐館做兼職。再次為我現在的教會讚美上帝，在那裡我找到了同行的社群和歸屬感。榮耀歸耶穌！因為有與我在基督裡的朋友和弟兄姊妹一起克服挑戰，是多麼的喜樂啊！

        再次感謝你在祈禱中記念我。知道有你們所有人在背後的思念和祈禱，鼓勵著我。願上帝賜福你們！

        吳以勒正在英國的西英格蘭大學修讀英語文學和寫作課程，為期三年。九月份升讀三年班一年學費港幣140,000元、住宿費40,000元、食用保險等55,000元，合共235,000元。請支持吳天德宣教士家庭，奉獻請註明「吳以勒大學教育資助」。

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

        Praise the Lord! Thank you all for remembering me in your prayers and the continuous support.

        I was initially hesitant to write this update letter, as I didn’t have the courage and face to truthfully reveal my current situation. But I genuinely appreciate all your prayers and support, so it is only right that I am authentic about my circumstances.

        I am currently retaking my 2nd year as I didn’t meet the credit requirement to enter my final year. However, I am only taking about half of my classes from last year as I am exempt from the ones that I have passed. I was crushed when I first got the news, as now I delay my graduation by an extra year, and disappointed because I know I am more than capable of passing. But I’m past the remorse now, and all that’s left is to keep moving forward, and to trust that God led me to this city and this university for a reason. I praise God through it all.

        Aside from my studies, I am serving at church and working part time at a restaurant. Again, praise God for the church I’m in now where I’ve found my community and sense of belonging. Such joy it is to glorify Jesus and overcome challenges alongside my friends and brothers and sisters in Christ!

        Thank you again for remembering me in your prayers. It is encouraging to remember that behind me I am supported by the thoughts and prayers of you all. God bless!
